For all practices, attire is choir t with white shorts/ blue skirts/ blue shorts.
For tomorrow, please meet at 8am at JE mrt station - outside popular
We will be taking bus together to go to JPS.
bring along pitchpipe (com mmebers) and tuning fork (all), choir journals. water bottles and stationary.
You are to attend their practices on 3/6, 16/6 and 17/6 from 9am to 1pm to offer them as much tips about singing techniques and skills as possible to prepare them for an overseas competition in China about a month later.
They will be singing the following songs:
1. Old Joe Clark, America Folksong, arranged by Mary Goetze
2. Kalinka, Russian folksong, arranged by Joan Gregoryk
3. Ampar Ampar Pisang, South Kalimantan Folksong
4. Aka Tombo (Little Red Dragonfly), arranged by Miki Roufu & Kosaku Yaheda
This is what is going to happen for tomorrow's session (3rd June):
by 8:30am Reach Jurong Primary School (320 Jurong East St 32, you can reach there by taking bus 333, the school is between Chinese Garden and Lakeside MRT, somewhere behind the Jurong East Swimming Complex)
9:00am - 9:30am Introduce to them who we are: RVC and its achievements
9:30am - 10:00am Possible to sing 1 or 2 songs to them? If not, will show them some clips of RVC singing
10:00am onwards Observe their practice and discuss with the conductor how we should assist them in their practice
1:00pm Practice ends

Anniversary

It's been a year since our Gold-with-Honours and about a month since Italy!
Our jubilance, triumph, and joy, not forgetting the tears we had along the way.
We've come thus far, and we have to work hard to keep our standards there.
